Hey everyone! (Everyone calls me campanita because in spanish that is tinker bell haha ) This week was great becase we worked so hard. We are living the fourth floor last door rule and it has been the source of so many little miracles all week. So what has happened is that sometime during our day something dissapointing would happen and we would get sad or worried but then because we did our best to stay out till 9pm something good would happen so that we wouldnt end our day sad. For example on Saturday the young woman that had a baptismal date and was progressing so fast ''broke up'' with us. She told us that she did not want us to come back and we stayed with her and listened and answered her questions with hope she would give us a chance but in the end she said no. We left her house at 6pm with our heads down wondering what we did wrong but as we talked we realized that we could answer all her doubts but if she doesnt want to believe she wont. Its sad but we have hope she will find the truth someday. But anyway the miracle of the day was that at 8pm we went to Familia Hinojosa (less actives) and Kelly and Renzo were there and they let us in and as we talked with them we found out they both want to go on missions and want to help their family come back to church so they plan to start going so that they can follow. I felt such great love for them and saw my family in theirs and I am so grateful that we get to be here with them. I know God is going to help them because of their faith. We picked up the dad and them too in the morning on Sunday and what great joy when they came into the church and everyone was so happy to see them and hugged them and I saw their faces Renzo and David (the dad) smiling and grateful to finally be here at church. We are meeting with so many less actives in the area and they make me so happy when they want to come back, most do you would imagine they dont but they are some of the sadest people I have met because they want to come back but are scared and it breaks my heart but Im also hopeful that the Atonement of Christ will help them overcome their fears. I know it has helped me. Hmm now funny stories well its not too funny a bit scary but a drunk man ruined a lesson we were having with his daughter outside her house and well the funny part was that at night we walked through that street and I said ''what if the man came out right now what would you do?'' to my comp and right then we hear his garage door open and we got soo scared we ran for a block probably haha but we were fine I dont even know if it was him we were just freaked because I had just asked. Oooh something cool is that we me Nargila in the street and went to teach her later and she is from Brazil so at the end of the lesson we prayed in Portuguese it was so cool because from what I understood she asked to know if the things we taught were true. :) I loved this scripture when I found it in the bible but its also in 3 Nefi: We taught this alot this week that if we put God first all things will be added to us. 3 Nefi 13:31-38 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Love you all, Stay strong and remember that when we put God first all things will be okay. Sorry didnt take many photos this week
